Chatime: Tea anyone ? =)

I thought long and hard on which food experience I should start blogging about, then it hit me. Why don't I start with something short and sweet to start ? Right I shall blog about Chatime ! 

I happen to be around Mont Kiara area today with a few buddies of mine, when we chanced upon the newly opened Chatime franchise over there. This could be considered to be my second time trying Chatime drinks ( though the first time would be my friend buying me a cup over  in the Sunway Pyramid Mall and me drinking it without knowing what it actually is O-O) 

Chatime is a Taiwan bubble tea Franchise that opened in Malaysia not to long back. The company was founded back in 2005 in Taiwan. Well now, there's a little back ground story of the company for all of you and now on to the wide selections of drinks they have !

They have a wide variety of bubble teas, ranging from Mellow Milk Tea to Healthy Juice even coffee. I tried the Fairy Vanilla Milk Tea from the Mellow Milk Tea section and my friend tried the Roasted Milk Tea from there. I really just went for the jelly "pearls" that were in the tea ! AHAHAHA

I would highly recommend all of you to at least give Chatime a try, especially a must try from bubble tea fans. The wide range of bubble teas will keep you on your toes for more. Who knows? They might even have upcoming new flavours soon ! 

Well thats all i have to say about Chatime and the wonderful bubble tea I had.

Updates and more to look out for !

Heya all ! Its Celestia here and i'm gonna bring you more updates on my food outing throughout the whole month of September and of course October. I've been caught up with life and stuff till i didn't have much time to update this food blog. Still I have been dutifully taking pictures of every piece of good food I have encountered through my rather Extensive eating journey. ;) well then, I'll be leaving this and starting on my next up coming post on food.

Tarbush : A Middle-eastern food expedition =)

The very first post for this food critique blog ! ;) 

Today, My Expedition team members and I journeyed over the vast desert, with nothing in sight for miles and a growling stomach ! with that we chanced upon Tarbush in Sunway Pyramid ;)

The atmosphere in Tarbush was really " Middle -Eastern-ish", warm and cosy environment decorated with interesting trinkets here and there. They even have a mini fountain right smack in the midlde of the doorway! =D Fascinating really!

Anyways on to the food!

I had a delicious bowl of Hommus Meat ( i think the meat inside was beef , for sure ! or perhaps lamb....) it was really nice. Goes very well with the pita bread they served on the side ! =) Though it was a little bland for my taste....

Next up was Lamb Samosas! Really lovely little fried dumplings, stuffed with a stuffing of lamb meat, pea and onions. Very delicious for the fact it was not that oily like some other samosas that i had in the past.

I didn't have much ( cause i only order the Appetizers XD;;) so i decided to steal... beg.... scavenge ... ASK my fellow foodies to share a part of their meal with me. Naturally their too happy to oblige =). Their choice of food were really good too! Way to go awesome taste buds ;)

I forgot the name of this , but its Pita bread with Cheese ! really really good! >W< ( The cheese was literally oozing out of the pita bread) 

Falafel and some eggplant dish ( can't remember the name ! D8)

Unfortunately, i didn't get to snap a photo of my Arabic Mint tea as my phone was constantly stolen from me by a dear friend while i was eating LOL. It came in a rather quaint looking Arabian teapot and the tea was not bitter at all ( I NEVER add sugar into my tea , unless necessary, I like my tea black ;) ) 

Overall , it was a pleasant experience in this restaurant. nice food to go with the ever so warm atmosphere. I give and 8/10 rating for this Lebanese restaurant ! =)I would recommend this restaurant to people who are daring enough to expose their taste buds to something entirely new and good !
